Leaving a Village or Country

Hello!

In order to leave your country, you need to follow the following steps:

Step 1.) Obtain a Passport
Passports can only be given to those of Genin Rank and above and may be obtained through a roleplay taking place in your [Kage's Tower] with another ninja of Chuunin rank or higher, or with a designated NPC. The default Passport is viable for 2 OoC Months from the time of obtaining the Passport but may be extended an additional 2 months if the player sends a Messenger NPC back to their village stating that their leave will be for longer. You may ask for a longer time frame during your Passport RP Thread, but it may not be guaranteed based on things such as your rank or the reasoning for the leave. The Baseline Passport is always guaranteed unless your character has a warrant out for their arrest.

Step 2.) Pass through the [Village Gates]
If you have obtained a passport, simply make a post at the [Village Gates] with the flag [Leaving Village] in your post's "Title of the Topic". At beginning of your post link to the thread where your Passport was given and then RP exiting the village however you would like.

Step 3.) Waiting Period

Leaving your Home Village. It is safe to assume that you are free to leave your village, but if anyone were to have any reason to stop you from leaving the village successfully, you have a "Run Time" that is based on your rank. Genin Run Time: 5 Hours Chuunin Run Time: 4 Hours Jounin Run Time: 3 Hours Sannin Run Time: 2 Hours Kage Run Time: 1 Hours If no one makes a reply starting with [STOPPED] during your "Run Time" you are free to treat the thread as though you successfully left the village and you may now post in the Greater Land Zone. If your goal is to RP in the Greater Land Zones, then your exit is complete! If you wish to leave the Country then continue to Step 4.

Leaving a Foreign Village If you are trying to exit a foreign village, or a village you are not originally from you can either use the flag [Requesting Exit] or [Forcing Exit]. If you use the [Requesting Exit] Flag you will have to wait until a Chuunin or higher ranked ninja from that village enters your thread, carries a basic roleplay with you where you will need to provide the link to when you gained your Passport and when you were granted entrance to the village, and then be on your way once you are left out. On the other hand, if you do not wish to follow the legal protocol to leave, perhaps because you are in a rush or because you entered the village illegally through a [Forcing Entrance] flagged thread, you can use the [Forcing Exit] Flag. You will have to wait the "Run Time" for you rank before you are considered freed from the village. If you are [STOPPED] by a ninja from that village before the end of your "Run Time" then you are prohibited from continuing to the Greater Land Zones, but be careful. Ninjas often perceive an illegal exit of their village as a sign that you are a criminal or a spy, so please be prepared for the chance of combat!

Step 4.) Leaving the Country
Leaving the country is the same as steps 2 and 3, but instead of posting at the [Village Gates] you can post anywhere in the Greater Land Zones with the flag [Leaving Country] in your post's "Title of the Topic". At the start of your post link to the thread where you successfully left your Village and proceed to complete the Waiting Period based on your rank.

Note, editing any post with a Run Time invalidates that post making that thread null and void.
