Weapon Creation Guideline

Hello!
If you are looking to utilize Taijutsu then this is the spot for you! All Taijutsu, except Unarmed and Buffing, require some kind of weapon. The process to design a weapon is very open for creativity but there are a few guidelines that will help you get your weapon approved by the Battle Moderators to be legal in official battles!

The process to design a weapon is very open for creativity but there are a few guidelines that will help you get your weapon approved by the Battle Moderators to be legal in official battles!
- First, Weapons augment the user's Base Damage by a flat some and not by a percentage
this means if your Base Damage is 50 and you equip a +10 Damage Weapon, then when performing Taijutsu with your weapon your Base Damage would be considered 60 instead of the 50. - Second, Weapons can increase 5 points of Base Damage by trading 1 point of Accuracy. This means that if you have a +10 Damage Weapon then all Attack Rolls made using that weapon take -2 Accuracy, but if you want a +1 Accuracy Weapon then your Base Damage takes a -5 reduction. You can do this up to 2 times in either direction.
- Third, each type of Taijutsu weapon has its own list of Special Properties that you can apply to your weapon. Each weapon may have up to 2 Special Properties. Each Special Property makes all of the user's CP costs increase by 10% while the weapon is equipped.
Blunt Weapon Special Properties:
- Each attack has a +5% chance to suppress the target on a successful hit per Shinobi Rank.
- The user can pay +1 AP when making an attack using the Blunt Weapon to cause the attack to deal +100% Base Damage.
Pierce Weapon Special Properties:
- Each attack has a +5% chance to inflict bleeding the target on a successful hit per Shinobi Rank. Bleeding deals 1% of the target's Max HP per bleeding rank, up to 5 Ranks.
- The user can pay +50% CP costs when making an attack using the Pierce Weapon to cause the attack to be modded as if costing -50% AP.
